Kapil Sharma on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' hot seat     Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is all set to revive the magic of his popular show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' yet again this time at an auditorium with live audience in Surat. And to add excitement to the event, the makers have roped in ace comedian Kapil Sharma as a special guest on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. Sources inform that the first celebrity guest to be on the hot seat will be Kapil Sharma. Amitabh Bachchan shared the news on his blog, he wrote, "So episodes over, its rehearsals for the Surat show .. with some incomparable people like Kapil Sharma." This is not the first time that the two actors are seen sharing the same stage. Earlier, this year Amitabh Bachchan had visited the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote Bhootnath Returns .

The much awaited Salman Khan – Jacqueline Fernandez starer Kick got released today and it opened to great response at the box office. The opening is huge everywhere – be it North, East, West or South. What’s incredible is that we are still in the pre-Eid period and that should have come in the way of the opening but that hasn’t happened. Salman Khan starers are really huge when it comes to Eid period and all his Eid releases in the recent past have been blockbusters. The business is going to get even more stronger from the day of Eid onwards.

Finally, the first day figures (estimated) of Salman Khan’s Kick is out! The sstimated collection figures suggest that Kick has collected more than 26 crore on day 1! This is despite being a non-holiday & pre-Eid period release and that makes it a huge achievement! The movie registered 80-95% collection across India in all the circuits. If it got released on a Holiday after Ramzan, then the first day figures would have been anything between 30 and 35 crores! Therefore, 26+ crore indicates blockbuster opening for the film. Weekend collection is going to be phenomenal. The best thing about this opening is that Muslim population will be watching the movie after the opening weekend (after Eid) and that will ensure very strong weekdays for the movie. In the end, Kick will come up with huge week 1 total.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira organised a celebrity football match to raise funds for an animal welfare shelter. The charity match was held recently for PIGI Foundation, which will build an animal welfare shelter with the money. Nuzhat Khan, actor Imran Khan’s mother and Ira's aunt, will look after the shelter, read a statement. Aamir and actor Abhishek Bachchan were captains of the two teams and the former's team won the match by 4:2. Celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Armaan Jain, Kiran Rao, Kunal Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Karan Wahi also participated in the match. Superstar Salman Khan distributed prizes to all. BANGALORE: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said that the government would continue with the present cost-sharing agreement and would provide free land to 13 railways projects in the State. “However, we have requested the Railways Minister D V Sadananda Gowda to consider the burden on the State government and relax the clauses in the agreement,” he said. Responding to a debate raised under Section 68 of the Legislative Council rules, the chief minister admitted that he had written a letter to the Railways, asking to either completely taking over the costs involved in the 13 pending projects or agree to a CentreState cost sharing ratio of 2/3:1/3, including land costs. Siddaramaiah said that as much as 14,000 acres of land and a whopping Rs 5,500 crore had to be given as State’s share towards these projects. “This is a real burden on the State Exchequer.
