No Salman Khan seen in Bigg Boss 8 finale There is bad news for Bigg Boss lovers and Salman Khan fans. The super-host will not be seen on the grand finale of the show to be held on Jan 31. The Bollywood superstar who hosted the show for five years, had to leave season 8,  after the show got extended. Salman's contract for the show expired on Jan 4, after which he was committed to shooting Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Rajasthan village.

'20 years ahead' Dubai’s Mall of the World will put the UAE’s shopping Dubai’s Mall of the World will put the UAE’s shopping and retail sectors 20 years ahead of the region, says the CEO of a leading general trading company. Midhat M Abu Ghazaleh, the chief executive officer of Abughazaleh Trading Company (ABCO), believes the mega-project, which will include 100 hotels and be capable of receiving 180 million visitors per year, “speaks volumes for the vision of Dubai”. “Dubai was 10 years ahead of other regional markets as far as shopping and retail are concerned,” he said. “In 1996, the Emirate set itself apart from the region with the launch of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which created a dramatic upswing in the UAE retail sector. Now, with the announcement of Mall of the World, the scale and magnitude have been expanded, which will surely take Dubai 20 years ahead of the regional market.

US warns Pakistan

 US warns Pak! No terror attack during Obama's India trip Ahead of President Barack Obama's India visit, the US has asked Pakistan to ensure that there is no cross-border terror incident during the trip and subtly warned of "consequences" if any such attack is traced back to the country. Obama will travel to New Delhi later this week to attend the Republic Day parade on January 26, the first US president to do so. The US and Indian security agencies are taking extra care for Obama as he will be on an open air platform at Rajpath for more than two hours, witnessing the parade. It is believed that the US has asked Pakistan to ensure that there is no cross-border terrorism or even attempts of it during Obama's trip. Pakistan has been subtly warned of the "consequences" of any terrorist attack during Obama's trip if that is traced back to their country, sources said.
