He is the mastermind behind the Cop Universe, which features hit films such as Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi.

Born on March 14, 1974, he is the offspring of the iconic fight choreographer M. B. Shetty.

Rohit Shetty wed Maya More in 2005; together they have a son named Ishaan.

He started his career at the age of 17 as an assistant director on Phool Aur Kaante (1991)
