Mosque of Bahmani Period turned into a temple in Gulbarga

Poja is going on. Archeological Survey of India has its complete record entered in Survey number 3. This mosque has 3 acres and 20 Guntas of Wakf land under it. Two Saffron flags have been hoist on the mosque. The local Muslim protested against it and they have also approached the court. Photo Journalist, Mr. Mirza Sarfaraz Baig told that local Muslims are not being permitted to enter the mosque premises. In its vicinity there is dargah of Hazrath Maula Ali Shah. The Mutawalli of this dargah, Ghudu Sahab told that it is an old mosque and its record is available in the Department of Archeology. He further told that it is due to the negligence of the local Muslim that it has been transformed into a temple. The mosque is situated adjacent to main road. The Muslims were careless right from the beginning and as a result of it, the Hindus gradually change it into a temple. The walls of this mosque have been painted with red colour.
