The main road of the city from Sardar Patel Circle to Jagat Circle was inundated with rain and sewage water.
The other worst affected areas include Jalalwadi, Darga Road, Azadpur Road, faraan college road, Brahampur, Ganga Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Kuvempu Nagar, Lalgeri Cross, Janata Layout and several other low-lying areas. The defunct underground drainage system and the failure of storm water drains have worsened the situation.
