Born in Solihull, West Midlands, on June 13, 1993, she made her England debut in 2013 and currently holds an ECB central contract.
Jones became England's primary wicketkeeper following Sarah Taylor's retirement in 2019. She has also led the England team in the absence of Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt.
Having surpassed 2,500 runs in Women's One Day Internationals, she is the eighth English woman to reach this significant milestone.
Additionally, Jones holds multiple records, including the highest partnership for a wicketkeeper-batter in ODIs for England.
She has played crucial roles in various series victories for England.
Since her debut, she has represented England in all three formats of the game: Tests, One Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals.
She is the first-choice wicketkeeper for England across all formats.
