The UAE Golden Visa

UAE launches new Golden Visa program for Indians

UAE’s Golden Visa at Rs 23 lakh

The UAE Golden Visa is a residency permit that offers long-term residency for foreign nationals, enabling them to live, work, or study in the Emirates while reaping exclusive advantages. These advantages consist of a six-month multiple-entry visa to initiate the application process, a renewable residency visa that is valid for either 5 or 10 years, the option to remain outside the UAE for over six months without forfeiting residency, no need for a local sponsor, and the capability to sponsor family members and domestic staff.

Eligibility for the Golden Visa

The UAE has recently launched a new Golden Visa program based on nominations for Indian nationals, providing lifetime residency without requiring property or business investments. This innovative model is aimed at individuals who possess significant professional expertise or have made notable contributions to society.

Frontline Heroes:

Application Process

The UAE has launched a nomination-based Golden Visa tailored for Indians, providing lifetime residency for a one-time payment of AED 100,000 (around Rs 23.3 lakh).  This program removes the requirement for property or business investments.  Eligibility is determined by professional experience, contributions to society, or potential benefits to the UAE’s culture, trade, science, startups, or finance industries.

Key Benefits of the Golden Visa

The procedure for applying for the nomination-based Golden Visa entails a vetting process that incorporates anti-money laundering assessments, criminal background checks, and social media evaluations.

Applications may be submitted via Rayad Group, in partnership with VFS and One Vasco centres, or through online platforms and call centres.

The ultimate decision is made by the UAE government.

Important Considerations

The Golden Visa provides numerous advantages, such as the opportunity to sponsor family members, employ domestic staff, and participate in professional or business endeavours. This visa remains effective even if the applicant no longer possesses property or business assets within the country.

It is crucial to understand that UAE authorities have made it clear that investments in digital currencies do not qualify for Golden Visa eligibility. Investors are advised to consult official sources for reliable information and to steer clear of unverified offers.

The newly introduced nomination-based Golden Visa for Indians grants lifetime residency for a one-time payment of AED 100,000, removing the requirement for property or business investments, and is determined by professional experience, contributions to society, or potential benefits to UAE sectors.

Alongside the nomination route, the UAE has broadened its Golden Visa program to include five additional categories, further enhancing its strategy to attract and retain global talent.
