 How to delete an Instagram account

To delete your Instagram account, follow these steps:

Go to the Instagram website on a desktop or mobile browser. You cannot delete your account through the Instagram app.

Log in to your account.

Go to the Delete Your Account page. You can find this page by clicking on the “Delete Your Account” page link.

Select a reason why you want to delete your account.

Enter your password again to confirm that you want to delete your account.

Click on the “Permanently delete my account” button.

Note: Once you delete your Instagram account, your profile, photos, videos, comments, likes, and followers will be permanently deleted. Additionally, you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content you have added. It is recommended to download a copy of your Instagram data before deleting your account, so you can keep a copy of your photos, videos, and other content.
